Habits While We Read....

Does anyone have habits while they read? If so, share it with us!

Here, I'll start...

I've noticed that if I read the whole day or some part of it, I'll get up every hour to get a drink or to get food because I get the munchies. And if I need to go... hell, I just take the book with me in the bathroom.
Haha.

haha! I do that last part if the book is really good! I also tend to laugh and make comments out loud regardless of where I am if I'm really into the book. And if I'm sitting cross-legged, I rock back and forth! hahaha!




Also, I'm moving this to 'General' since it has to do with books.

Haha! Again? Gosh, I'm so sorry Evie. Now I'm even more embarrassed.

I make comments too! Like sometimes I'll be saying them to myself and then I make a few out loud without even realizing it. I'll also laugh out loud if something's funny.

I know right? I can't help it! It's so fun! hahaha! Then, if I'm reading a hardback book, I have to take off the sleeve because I don't want to bend it! haha!

I have a friend who does the same... Haha. I'll just read it with the cover on. I really don't care as long as I get to read the book. xD And when it starts to bother me, I'll take it off.

I hate it when people use the sleeve ends for a bookmark ¬¬
I very rarely lend my books out to people and I tend to laugh out loud at all the funny bits where ever I am when I'm reading it XP
I've been known to laugh in the middle of a class before...and on the bus

i make comments and laugh out loud too. i also use the booksleeves as a bookmark (srry rose). also i read the last sentence before reading the book

Urgh ¬¬ It ruins the cover sleeve!! (and drives me insane)
I used to have the habit of folding the corner of the page over to save my page xP But I kicked that habit and use anything a a book mark instead...at the minute my book marks inclue, an old bus pass, a recipt and half a postcard xP

oooh...I also hate it when people leave books face down, open on the page they were reading...so they know how much damage that does to the book spine O.o and it makes the pages fall out =[

a mate of my folded the page once so i ironed it strat dont worry iron was on a low heat

i get so into a book people try and talk to me and im out of it i also laugh at funny parts and cry at sad bits and when that happens on a train people look at you like your crazy (im not i promise)

i also well never lend my books out as the last time i did that i did not get it back

i use other things like im using a pic of my sis. im just using the sleeve while i read tempted cuz its my aunt's book and she was supposed to get it for me but she is keeping it =( so im duing it to tick her off

i hate that too. my mother does it all the time and then SHE YELLS AT ME when i fix it.

It's annoying..my mum does it all the time with my books and then shouts when I moan at her for doing it...I'm like' How many times to I have to explain it breaks the book'

the day my mum picks up a book is the day i have a heart attack

my family think im crazy because i read

i also start jumping up and down on good parts in a book

I laugh during class when I'm reading and people sitting next to me always give me weird looks. xD.

I was reading a fanfic on my iPod one day during English [being the sneaky person I am] and it just happened to be at a really funny part, and I was trying so hard not to laugh!!!!! It was really difficult!! xD.

I'M SUPER EVIE!!!!!

I have to finish a chapter or a section, i cant just up and stop in the middle of a page.
I have a bookmark that has a H on one end and a pedant that says Happy on the other end and its tied to a string, while im reading i swing it back and forth around my finger. Its kinda an ADD thing, i have to be doing something else in order to help me concentrate on the book better.

Oh I do that too Hales!!! I have a regular bookmark and I shake it back and forth while I'm reading. And I can't stop in the middle of a chapter because I'll lose my mind! haha!

I absolutely cannot stop in the middle of a chapter or section of a chapter..I have to read to the end not matter what

I can stop if its like a new section of the chapter, like switching POV or something. but i cant stap in the middle os a scene or w.e its makes me nuts

i can but i dont like doing it. like if we're reading in class and the teacher stops us and im in the middle of a chapter ill put the book away but ill be shooting the teacher death glares through the rest of class lol

Hehehehe.... i got books tken away before because i wouldnt stop reading in ASL class hehehe.... i never payed attention in that class

i was reading a book at unie and i cried and every one looked at me like i was crazy. i then to want to go read in the bath and i hate taking a long bath but with a book it feels lekker..

I laugh out loud all the time while reading, even if its not that funny. What is funny is seeing the look on my teachers face! hahahahahaha!
I always read the last paragraph of a book (especially if I'm trying to pick one out)
I never mistreat my book lol Rosalie! I never lend them to anyone!
Habbits.....I cover the page numbers idk why. I think thats it though!
And I got a Snuggie for x-mas so now I'll be able to move my arms! Whoot!
