| A prodigal son A dangerous love A deadly secret . . . I stood back and watched his movements. Daniel had that way about him that could shut me down in an instant. . . . I kicked the gravel a couple of times and worked up my courage again. “Tell me . . . I mean . . . why did you come back? Why now, after all this time?” Grace Divine, daughter of the local pastor, always knew something terrible happened the night Daniel Kalbi disappeared—the night she found her brother Jude collapsed on the porch, covered in blood. But she has no idea what a truly monstrous secret that night really held. And when Daniel returns three years later, Grace can no longer deny her attraction to him, despite promising Jude she’ll stay away. As Grace gets closer to Daniel, her actions stir the ancient evil Daniel unleashed that horrific night. Grace must discover the truth behind Jude and Daniel's dark secret . . . and the cure that can save the ones she loves. But she may have to lay down the ultimate sacrifice to do it—her soul. | |

| Well, I have just fineshed reading it and have to say I really enjoyed it. Daniel and grace went well together, and it was exciting to see where the whole book was going to lead. - Spoiler:
i well be honest and say I had a feeling that something was up with Jude. His moods were all over the place and at Thanksgiving when the little brother went missing, I had a feeling Jude was to blame.. also Pete what guy you thought he was all nice at first and then bang his like the horrible guy ever i loved the book and was pleased with the ending. | |

| I've just finished this one and I'll be honest - it didnt catch me as much as I hoped it would! I read the review on here when it was first posted and was really looking forward to getting it here in the UK and I was a little disappointed by the time I had finished Don't get me wrong! It wasn't awful! I would quite happily read it again, but it wasn't as great as I thought it would be. Sorry peeps! | |
