Before I Fall

By: Lauren Oliver

Samantha Kingston has it all: the world’s most crush-worthy boyfriend,
three amazing best friends, and first pick of everything at Thomas Jefferson High,
from the best table in the cafeteria to the choicest parking spot. Friday, February
12 should be just another day in her charmed life.
Instead, it turns out to be her last.
Fortunately, she gets a second chance.
Seven chances, in fact. Reliving her last day during one miraculous week, she will
untangle the mystery surrounding her death—and discover the true value of everything
she is in danger of losing.

Charcters: Well Sam was kinda awsome thing really terrible and never got much better until after death. Rob is her boyfriend and I hate him. Honestly I hate all boys in this book besides Patrick, Muffin, and Kent. Kent was awsome, and nice, and funny, an amazing, did I mention awsome?

Journey/Story: Sam dies and then she gets seven chances to relive it. The first like three or so she pretty much wastes the first three days, which is why I hate her so much.

Overall Thoughts: I pretty much hate everyone but Kent and the new Sam. And it was a awsome book when you get through the swearing, drinking and 'other stuff'.

Rating: Like a Star @ heaven Like a Star @ heaven Like a Star @ heaven I hate the early Sam and all of the boys are so cliche it's not even funny.

I forget you're only 12! haha! Once you get older, you'll have a different view on the party scene Wink Even if you still hate that stuff like I do. (Blah!) You'll understand that she captured high school seniors pretty well. That's how most of the seniors I knew acted. They swear. They smoke. They drink. It's bad, but just think if she didn't have that, most of the moral behind the story wouldn't matter.
And I think the point of Sam being the girl that we'd normally hate in the beginning was the point. I think Lauren Oliver was trying to get across how death can change someone for the better. If Sam was sweet and caring in the beginning and also if they were all goody-two-shoes students, it would defeat the purpose Smile

Oh trust me drugs are a middle school problem to I'm sad to say. And swearing is a second language at my school.
I know, I hate her no matter if her being nice would defeat the moral or not xD
