Nothing

Janne Teller

And although we'd swore we'd
never become like them, that
was exactly what was happening.
We weren't even fifteen yet.
Thirteen, fourteen, adult. Dead.

Since this is an unordinary book I'm going to just talk about it instead of spliting it up into sections. There were a lot of things given up in this book, innocence, prayer mats, hamsters, fingers, dogs, crosses. A lot of symbolism went into this book and so did a lot of thinking. It makes you think about life and how far people are willing to push others for the fate of one single boy. How far are peopel willing to go to find meaning?

Because the orignal writing was in Dutch some of the towns and names are hard to pronounce but I knida like it that way. I couldn't imagine it anyway else. I loved this book cover to cover every page, every word.

Like a Star @ heaven Like a Star @ heaven Like a Star @ heaven Like a Star @ heaven Like a Star @ heaven Five stars and a recomendation to people who like books that make them think
